Return & Exchange Policy

At Vera, every order is carefully inspected, prepared, and packaged with intention. Due to the nature of our products and our quality control standards, all sales are final.

Returns or exchanges are only considered if the issue is a direct result of an error on our end — such as receiving an incorrect item or a verified manufacturing defect.

Eligibility for Review

To be considered for review, the following conditions must be met:

• Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
• Items must be unused, unworn, uninstalled, and unaltered
• Hair must remain in its original condition and packaging
• Photo or video proof is required

If approved, the item must be returned for inspection before any resolution is issued.

Shipping & Handling

• Return shipping within Canada is a flat rate of $28 CAD
• This amount will be deducted from any approved refund or replacement
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable

International Shipping Notice

At this time, Africa is not available for shipping.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees required by their country. These charges are not included in the purchase price and are non-refundable.

What is the difference between Vera Raw Hair and Vera Virgin Hair?

Both our Raw and Virgin hair collections meet the same uncompromising standards for quality, longevity, and luxury. The difference lies in sourcing and preparation.

Vera Raw Hair is collected directly from a single donor and left completely unprocessed no steam, no texture manipulation. Each bundle maintains its natural pattern, which may vary slightly from piece to piece.

Vera Virgin Hair is also 100% human hair, cuticle-aligned, and free from chemicals. It is gently refined to create consistent textures while preserving softness, strength, and longevity.

Both collections are designed for women who expect premium hair that performs beautifully over time.

Is the quality the same for Raw and Virgin hair?

Yes. Both collections are held to the same Vera standard. The choice between Raw and Virgin is not about quality it is about preference.

If you value organic variation and a truly untouched finish, Raw Hair may be ideal. If you prefer uniform texture and predictability across installs, Virgin Hair offers that refinement without compromise.

How long does Vera hair last?

With proper care, Vera hair can last 12 months or longer. Longevity depends on maintenance, installation practices, and daily care.

Our hair is designed for repeated installs and long-term wear, making it an investment not a temporary style.

Can the hair be colored or toned?

Yes. Both Raw and Virgin hair can be professionally colored or toned. We recommend working with an experienced stylist, especially for lightening, to preserve the integrity of the hair.

Please note: once hair has been altered, it is no longer eligible for return or exchange.

Does the hair shed or tangle?

Minimal shedding is normal for all human hair. Vera hair is double-checked for cuticle alignment to reduce shedding and tangling when cared for properly.

Improper handling, cutting the weft, or lack of maintenance can increase shedding.

Is Vera hair heat safe?

Yes. Vera hair is heat safe up to 450°F. We recommend using heat protectant and avoiding excessive heat to maintain softness and longevity.

How should I care for my hair?

Use sulfate-free products, avoid heavy buildup, and store hair properly when not in use. Treat your hair as you would natural hair — hydration and gentle handling are key.

Will the texture change after washing?

Our textures return to their natural pattern after washing. Raw hair may display more natural variation, while Virgin textures maintain a consistent finish by design.

Can I reuse the hair?

Yes. All Vera hair is designed for multiple installs when properly cared for and professionally removed.
